Looking Ahead: Toy Toss and Visit to SickKids
This Saturday, December 9th at 4pm is our annual Teddy Bear Toss. Bring your new or slightly used stuffed animals to the game and receive a free ticket voucher to redeem at any Hamilton Bulldogs game for the remainder of the season. The first goal your Bulldogs score that afternoon, everyone is encouraged to litter the ice with thousands of their stuffed animals. If you happen to forget your stuffed animal at home, Pets Mart has graciously donated ones that will be for sale for $5 at the game., All proceeds from these sales will go right back into the Bulldogs Foundation in support of our Breakfast Program.
All of the toys collected from Saturday will then be taken to Toy Mountain, located inside Lime Ridge Mall on Tuesday December 12th. Bulldog players will be present at 11am on this day to assist with the drop off. Afterwards, everyone is encouraged to stop by the FirstOntario location inside the mall where a player meet and great and autograph signing will be held until 1pm. Bulldogs staff will also be on location to answer any ticketing or other general inquires you may have.
2017 marks the 22nd anniversary of the CTV Toy Mountain Campaign benefiting the Salvation Army. With drop off locations all across the country, Toy Mountain is all about about helping families in need so their children can experience the joy and exhilaration of unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning.
If you want to donate, simply drop off a new, unwrapped toy to a Toy Mountain bin at your local mall and it will be transported to the Salvation Army Food and Toy Distribution Warehouse. The Salvation Army will then distribute all of these generous donations to the children in need just in time for Santa's visit!
Later in the month, Hamilton Bulldogs players will once again be visiting McMaster Children's Hospital to help spread some holiday cheer to those who may need it most! More information on that will be shared in the upcoming week.
