The Hamilton Bulldogs Foundation would like to take a moment to thank all of the fans for your generous donations at last Saturday's game in support of the Humboldt Broncos.
On Friday April 8th, tragedy struck our country as well as the hockey community around the world as a bus carrying a junior hockey team in Saskatchewan collided with a transport truck killing fifteen people on board. The following night during game 2 of our playoff series with the Niagara Ice Dogs, our usual sales at our Foundation Booth were put on hold in order to collect donations to be sent to the Humboldt Broncos organization.
A Bulldogs team-signed stick and the Park's Canada 'Best Seats in the House" were raffled off with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Broncos. With the very generous donations from Bulldogs fans, as well as from the bus loads of Ice Dogs fans that were in attendance, we were able to raise $2800!
Thank you once again to everyone in attendance for their generosity.
Endless waves of fans line up during Saturday nights game vs. the Niagara Ice Dogs to donate and show their support for the Humboldt Broncos Junior hockey team.
